My KBShimmer Snow Way! Franken Dupe-Shenailigans DIY Saturdays

So at the beginning of winter, the KBShimmer winter collection was released and I was like wow, I need Snow Way! But my wallet was getting kind of tired of spending so much on indie polishes at $8-9 a pop. Let's face it ladies, that is expensive when you want so many! I made this polish instead, and you can make it too! I will let you know everything you need to make this through out the post. as well, this covers in 2 coats unlike the 4 coat Snow Way!
This is made with Sinful Colors- Cinderella, and I added a bit of suspension base and a couple drops of  cyan blue to it.  I ordered some white glitter from TKB Trading and put that in there with a paper funnel I made. Pretty simple. I usually tip the glitter from the bag or use a tiny espresso spoon. Or you could order this mix from YouMix for $2 for a decent sample to avoid having to buy a bunch of white glitters, and there you have it!

I'm going to start doing this every Saturday, remaking a popular polish that you could remake yourself, so stay tuned. This is probably one of the favorite frankens I have made, because It felt like I got a hot new polish for free because I had the supplies already.

What do you think? Are you going to try to make this for yourself? I love the addition of the duochrome flash from the shimmer in Cinderella.

 Happy nails!☺

My Boxing Day Picks From LUSH!

Hello Ladies!
I just wanted to show you what I got on boxing day!
First I got 2 of these guys from the LUSH boxing day sale:
2 Wonderful Christmastimes! Be jealous. I'm jealous of myself! Haha. Here's what's in them:
The gift's contents tag
The gift is done on 3 layers stacked, and you pull on the handles in the middle to lift up each.
Top Layer
Here's the top layer, we have the shower gels along with some other assorted stuff. This year's new shower gel, Ponce, I do not like it. It smell like straight up tequila, and come on, no one wants to wash with straight tequila haha! Maybe Ke$ha.
Layer one with layer 2, the goodies not dug out yet.
Second level! We have a lot of soap on this level, 2 bubble bars and a bath bomb.
Here's the last level. We have 4 bath bombs and 2 bubble bar wands.
Group shot! So yeah, that times two. I love the LUSH boxing day sale every year, and always look forward to it. And every year the sales associates will tell you "oh, we aren't having that sale this year." To try to sell more product before Christmas. If I have a shopping tip for you for LUSH, it would just be to not believe everything they tell you, like most retail jobs, they are pushed really hard to sell. The products are great though, albeit a bit over-priced. The scents and fantastic and you can't get them anywhere else, so that's one of the main reasons I still shop there, they have been raising the prices lots the last few years.
My game plan at LUSH every year is just to stock up on the boxing day sale, I still have a few things left over from last year, so there's an idea I go with.  The sale goes till January 6th.

Don't you just love the LUSH bags and soap wrap this year? Super awesome and bright, like most LUSH things, haha!
I also picked up some regular line items I enjoy. I love me some LUSH rose and jasmine so that's mostly what these 2 gifts are. Rosie and Do Knot Disturb. I also got some of my favorite soaps, Rockstar, Sandstone and Sultana of Soap. Love me some LUSH soap!

Here is the Do Knot Disturb with it's menu!

The Contents!

The tag for the Rosie gift.
What do you think of my haul? If you have been to LUSH before, what are your favorite items? Let me know in the comments!

Happy nails! awesome bath products!☺

China Glaze Tranzitions Modify Me- Changes With Topcoat

 Hello Ladies,
I have to show you the coolest polish ever! It is called Modify Me by China Glaze, and it changes color with top coat.

Modify Me-China Glaze with Zoya-Blaze
This manicure was done with Modify Me, Seche Vite, and Zoya- Blaze.  It was 2 coats of Modify Me, one of Zoya Blaze. I found with this color changing polish, the more coats of a clear polish you put, the darker it gets.
If you peel off the clear polish, the color changing polish below is still periwinkle and not purple. somehow it reacts with the polishes you put on top to change them purple, and the color below stays the same. Weirdest thing ever! Makes for some easy nail art though!
Modify Me-China Glaze with Zoya-Blaze
On my thumb here, you can see how multiple coats of polish get darker, as on the x.
I don't know how they do this, but it's probably the coolest thing ever.  I got both these colors from Nailpolishcanada.com. Here's all the things I ordered from them:

The Avojuice was a bonus item with the order, I've never tried it before now and it smells really nice. The Solstice Nail Colors are Cassis and St. Tropez. They look pretty promising, and the other color I got from Soulstice awhile ago was amazing, (Troy) was a scattered charcoal holographic and slick and shiny without topcoat. That never happens with a holographic polish!
Well anyways, what do you think of these polishes? Will you pick up any Tranzitions? Let me know in the comments!
I think I might want the pink one. The formula on this one is pretty with the shimmer as you paint it on, but you don't really see that in the polish when it dries, it's almost matte. It chipped on me second day, but a lot of polish does, and you can't really put a topcoat on this anyways haha. I do like the color it changes to, but I like the before color better.

Happy nails!☺

Glitter Order from Borough Babe Supply on Etsy

 Warning: Lotsa amazing glitter pics!
Today I have to show you my glitter order from Shannon at Borough Babe Supply on Etsy.
Everything is just so great, and I am so impressed. I've ordered from Shannon before, and It was a no-brainer to make this order because her prices are good and her service is really fast.

I had wanted to make an order substitution and she nailed it right on, and when I opened the order and saw it, it was just awesome. I really don't have enough good things to say about Shannon. She had some new glittter mixes since I had ordered last and they are very inventive and imaginative. Really really cool. And I have everything so it does take a bit to impress me.

Without further ado, here's the order:
Look at those fuchsia bar glitters. Just look at them. They are totally mindblowingly gorgeous. I could look at them all day.
Here's a closer pic. I'm annoyed with my camera lately.
Closer pics of everything else, and then you have to see these mixes!

My Urban Decay and Orly Haul

Oh my gosh Ladies,
I have so many haul pictures to post up, that it is ridiculous, and I haven't been getting them up.  So I'm going to start with what I got today. Fiorella from Fiorella's Closet is my nail polish BFF/ USA order connection, and she is my lifesaver when I want something that only ships to the states.
This is a few different USA orders that she packaged like a champion and sent up to me. Everything is gorgeous!
Let's start with everything together:
Urban Decay to the left, we've got deluxe eye shadows in Scratch, Fishnet and Honey, some of my favorite Urban Decay colors. Each was $8 which is a steal because they are huge and the colors and the bomb. Don't worry, I'll show you them next pic. I also got the lick-able body powder in marshmallow, it smells awesome but I really don't know what guy would want to risk licking that and getting shimmery sparkles on his face haha! It's weird because on the bottom of the thing it tells you not to eat it and that it's not a food item,  but it's labeled lick-able body powder? Mixed messages haha!
Here are the eyeshadows, aren't they sexyyy?
Marshmallow bodypowder collage.
I think I'm going to take more advantage of collages haha.
Here's the cream eyeliner in Demolition, you can see that it's not that pigmented (closest to the right was me trying to make it as dark as possible.) It's okay for $4 though. The packaging is super cute.

365 Days of Polish $25 Christmas Surprise Bag

Hello Ladies,
Here I have the $25 Christmas Surprise Bag I bought from 365 Days of Polish to show you, check it out!
Here's what the bag looks like packaged up as a gift, you could totally give this to someone right away, it would brighten any polish lover's day!
Tons of candy! Like seriously, lots. The kisses are mint white chocolate with candy cane pieces and red stripes (see below.) The cuticle balm is red hot cinnamon, which is cool if you like cinnamon scented stuff- I don't. Only in baking. I don't think people realize that cinnamon gum gives you uber bad breath. Which is really irrelevant to this cuticle balm but I had to say it, haha! the balm is okay, it's not really pliable. If you need a decent amount, you need to scrape it out.

The polishes I got were I stole Christmas and Deadly Attraction. I am not a fan of either. They are both hella sheer. The I stole xmas one has some very cool gold flakies in it but yeah. I tried them out on a nail wheel and was like.. meh not something I will wear. So that was a bummer.

The striped Kisses!
Here's the cuticle oil, it comes in a red glass tube with a red lid and has a rollerball. The scent is called Merry Mistletoe and it smells like a mixture between The Body Shop Cranberry body butter and..wait for it... Axe. So I haven't tried it yet. May just give to my boyfriend. Yes, he would use cuticle oil, haha!

So this was a bit of a strikeout, but sometimes that happens with a surprise bag and that is a chance you take buying one. Oh well! There was lots of candy in here, that counts for something. It was delicious.

 Happy nails!☺

Tea at the Banff Springs Hotel and Nails in my Favorite Colors-Pic Heavy

 Hello Ladies!
I had the option to do tea for free and of course I had to go haha! Here are pictures of the tea room and the funky and well... not very lady-like nails I sported.  It's okay, they rock.
The flowers on the table, not sure what they are called but they were too cool.
Tables beside us.

The top tiers of the tray.
Okay, admittedly, I ate 2 sandwiches before I was like ohh yeah, I wanted to take pictures of this..
I really want one of those tea leaf strainers. They are cute as hell. The tea I chose was a strong Earl Grey so I wish they had done tea balls instead, because half way through the tea pot, I couldn't finish it. Way too bitter, I never do tea like that at home. I am a big tea fan, it is the other thing I hoard haha!
Cute little raspberry cake with gold leaf on the corners. There was also blueberry scones.
Okay and now for the nails!
Pointer and ring is Crunch Berries by Glitzology (currently having an all polishes for $5 sale) The red blue and yellow floam style polish I made myself. Red yellow and blue have been my favorite colors since I was a kid, not just because they make all the colors, but they look super cool together too.
My thumb is another polish I made myself with a YouMix Mix. I thought this manicure was super fun, reminds me of Lego. Hope you enjoyed this little peek into where I live!

Happy nails!☺
